Different quotes and passages on GRACE:

The devil always wants the believer to feel guilty of his sinful action but the bible says there is therefore no condemnation…. That’s why God didn’t want adam to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil (which represented the law). For the law brings us to the consciousness of good and evil hence, guilt and condemnation and death. The bible says the law is the ministry of death

There is no imputation of sin to the man that’s born again cos he has become the righteousness of God thru Christ Jesus

Rom 5:13 – Sin and the law.

Under Grace, the law of moses does not exist. Man will always sin. The law of moses was given to expose the sins of man and not to make him holy, but to draw man to the end of himself and rely totally on God and His love thru Jesus.

Pls try to avoid mixing God’s Grace with the requirements of the law. Grace itself means “Unmerited favour”. How come that’s so hard to understand? Unmerited becos we are not perfect and still sin under the law but Grace, favours us.

Religion will tell u, u have to do so, so and so to merit God’s forgiveness. U have to confess your sins daily so that God can forgive u daily, you have to fast and pray so that God can move on your behalf (do you fast and pray becos you want to fellowship with Him and know Him or you fast and pray becos you want God to move). In this light, you make rubbish of the perfect and finished works of Jesus @ the cross

Not that there’s anything wrong in confessing sins. Confession of sins should be as a way of admitting your weakness to God and asking Him for His Grace to deal with that weakness and not so that he should forgive u, that has already been taken care of more than 2,000 yrs ago. All you have to do is BELIEVE! Belief, Faith and Speaking out are the only requirements God requires of you, nothing more. For without FAITH (which is one of the new laws of the new testament and Grace), it is impossible to please God.

Joshua 20:1-8. talked about the days of the levite priests viz-a-viz the cities of refuge and a particular law. The law stated that if a person committed man slaughter, that’s accidental murder, the person should run to any of the cities of refuge wia the priests lived less the avenger of blood (the relative or a type of justice) catch up with him. Now where the priests lived were the best places in israel then. The priests ate the best foods, there was plenty of wine, music, the best of everything, the lived in the best of conditions. Numbers 18:11-12. Now how come God ordered that the murderer go to the cities of refuge were the priests lived to enjoy the best life had to offer? Its all about GRACE and God’s love! Numbers 35:6

Heb 10:26 – addressing the issue of sinning willfully. Paul was addressing the jewish people who came and heard the gospel of truth and became enlightened but yet turned back to the old ways of doing things ie sacrificing of bulls for purification. Paul said as they turned back, there remained no more sacrifice. Paul wasn’t referring us xtians “sinning willfully”. Infact, @ the cross, Jesus put all our sins in the category of “ignorance” – “father, forgive them for they KNOW NOT what they do”. This speaks of God’s love and Grace. But in reality, the people knew who they were sacrificing, they sinned willfully but God does not look @ our sins. Praise God!

The law only makes you aware , conscious and guilty of your sins. It was not given to make you righteous Rom 3:19-20; Gal 3:10; 19; 21; Gal 2:16

You can’t be holy living under the law – the mosaic law, but under Grace

#GraceVsWorks. Are U praying & fasting to fellowship with God or praying & fasting 2 try 2 get God to do something? Christianity VS Religion

Rom 5:13  [To be sure] sin was in the world before ever the Law was given, but sin is not charged to men’s account where there is no law [to transgress].

Living without sin consciousness

Sin thru adam but Righteousness thru Jesus.

Rom 5:19  For just as by one man’s disobedience (failing to hear, heedlessness, and carelessness) the many were constituted sinners, so by one Man’s obedience the many will be constituted righteous (made acceptable to God, brought into right standing with Him).

God will not, never be mad @ u for sins committed

Rom 5:9  Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ’s blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God.

Heb 8:12…. God remembers our sins no more under the new covenant

Under the new covenant, God’s Spirit remains with us forever Eph 1:13-14, irrespective of the sins we commit

“He will never leave us nor forsake us”

Under the old covenant, david pleaded with God so He won’t remove His Spirit but under the new covenant, His Spirit remains with us FOREVER. Eph 1:13-14

1 Cor 6:17

Heb 7:12. Heb 8:8-9 The old way (law) is obsolete

@chixyfied: #GraceVsWorks. The law of old is completely useless to born again christians. Move on to Grace and the laws of FAITH, LOVE & perfect LIBERTY

You will say this message of GRACE will give people the license to sin but let me ask you, haven’t people been sinning without the license?

Remember God’s way of thinking is far and high above man’s way of thinking. Secondly, God’s ways are highly controversial to man.

Move over to God’s Grace, God’s way, Jesus – the truth, the way and the light
